What style of Yoga do you teach?
We teach Hatha Yoga and we also integrate Vinyasa Flow Yoga and Restorative Yoga into our teaching style.
Who can practice?
Everyone can practice - there is no limit regardless of one's age, flexibility or weight.
I have a health problem can I practice?
Please consult your doctor if you have a health problem before you attend a class, also there are various therapeutic poses/ asanas which benefit different ailments.
Does yoga help stress?
Yes, yoga minimizes the impact of stress. Yogic science believes that regular practice of poses/asanas and breathing/pranayama strengthens the nervous system and helps people face stressful situations better.
What should I wear to the class?
Wear light breathable clothing that you will be comfortable sweating in and that will not restrict your movement.
Can I practice yoga in my socks?
Yoga is best practiced barefoot for health and safety reasons. If you really have to wear your socks for health or any other reasons please speak to your teacher before the class.
Do I need to bring a mat?
Yes, please bring a mat along if you have one. If you don’t the teacher will provide you with a mat. Please let us know if advance if you do not have a mat.
What time should I arrive at the class?
We advise all new students to arrive at least 5/10 minutes before the start of the class. This is so you have time to register and speak to the teacher. Once you become a regular student please be on time. If you are late the teacher will find you a space.
Where can I keep my personal belongings during the class?
Some studios have an allocated space for your personal belongings, please check with your teacher before your class.
